“I went to Maui to stay a week and remained five. I never spent so pleasant a month before, or bade any place goodbye so regretfully. I have not once thought of business, or care or human toil or trouble or sorrow or weariness, and the memory of it will remain with me always.” – Mark Twain
As you would have noticed by now, I have been posting travel throwbacks for the past few days. I think it’s worth sharing and I for one, love reading travel blogs and day dream about those places I have never been!
Today’s travel throwback is Maui, back when we were still living in Hawaii (about 3 years ago now!). One of the best things of living in Oahu is that it’s only a quick plane ride to the surrounding islands. So we decided to spend the weekend in Maui and did a little bit of road tripping (“Road to Hana“). It was one of the best weekends we’ve ever had. Maui is beautiful. Unlike Waikiki, Maui is less touristy and more “country” and very laid-back :-).
